John the Apostle was not shown the number 666, but three, Greek symbols which he copied down to the best of his understanding. In other words, what John saw was not the numeral numbers 666, but three Greek picture symbols which he wrote in Greek that resembled a symbol "engraving, mark or brand," equal to the sum of 'six hundred three score six.'

if you think of food to eat, you may think of three delicious juicy steaks on the grill.

Correct?

You will not see the number three or the word STEAK, (as thoughts) instead,
"you will see a picture of three juicy steaks on the grill."

Here is the test.....

Take a book, (any book) then.... inside the book place a picture
(for example the picture of a hamburger).
Open and close the book quickly, what registers in your mind?
The picture of a hamburger, "not the page full of text" (on the opposit page).
